Over 19000 Syrian Refugees Treated at Moroccan Zaatari Hospital in October

Al-Mafraq (Jordan)  –  Some 19,024 Syrian refugees received medical services in the Moroccan field hospital in Zaatari camp, North-east of Jordan, in October.According to the statistics provided by the hospital administration, the children were on the top of those who were extended health services with 4,269 cases, followed by women (4,209) and men (2,850).As many as 2,712 emergency cases, 1,467 pediatric cases and 1,946 general medicine cases were referred to the hospital.Some 6407 prescriptions were offered by the different departments of the hospital to patients in the past month. Some 280 patients were admitted to hospital, while 89 surgical operations were carried out by the hospital staff.The Moroccan field campaign hospital, located on the borders between Jordan and Syria, has a capacity of 60 beds. It is manned by 100 executives, including 32 doctors of 20 different specialties.With MAP
